Who buys Modular Buildings and what do they use them for?

A question often asked by our marketing team amongst others!

Whilst the answer is – “It could be absolutely anybody and for any purpose”, that doesn’t help them focus our marketing strategy, which is to bring an awareness of our experience and legendary GCS customer service to the notice of those looking for extra space, whatever the intended use.

There are however a few vertical sectors that have always understood and appreciated the value of modular buildings. Education, Construction, Utilities and the NHS are cases in point.

They are used for a wide range of needs with the common theme being –  more space needed!

I guess the speed that space can be provided, whatever the requirements and a purpose-built structure manufactured to meet the function of the business is compelling.

Add to that the flexibility, low-cost, environmentally friendly, energy efficienciency and hassle free installation – what’s not to like?

Good news for our marketing team is that an emerging sector has now recognised the major advantage of choosing modular. The rapidly growing Recycling industry has clearly realised that Modular offers many benefits and been attracted by the advantages outlined above.

Welfare units, office blocks with kitchen facilities and toilets, weighbridges, are amongst the many types of building used within the industry that we have worked on, and built from a variety of materials including solid steel, anti-vandal, timber clad, brick slip, pretty much anything our clients could want or even think of……..just ask, there is very little we can’t do.

So, I suppose that the answer to “Who buys Modular Buildings and what do they use them for?”            remains – “It could be absolutely anybody and for any purpose.”

Which doesn’t help the guys in marketing, but they can take comfort from the fact that the interest in Modular is growing, the quality and design is constantly improving and here at GCS were are blessed with loyal customers who just keep on coming back for more.
