One of the massive advantages that we have here at GCS Cabins is the capability and capacity to deliver any, and we mean any, type of modular or portable building and the sectors we can supply definitely has no boundaries. We work with a number of building manufacturers to make sure we can cover even the most ‘creative’ requests.
A quick look at our most recent projects shows we have supplied and installed a wide range of off-site constructed buildings; from a multi-million-pound long-term project; to supplying sleeping accommodation for seasonal workers; and even a refurbished, second-hand welfare unit for a local builder.
One of our current projects is in the process of arranging groundwork and installing a £250K modular building for a special school near London for pupils with emotional/mental health issues. And at the same time, we are installing an office block for a major UK airport.
Transport features again with the installation of a new hub for a logistics company who needed a transport office, reception area and check-in office with full facilities, along with a 3 bay modular building for a Rail Engineering business.
Another sector where we are in great demand is the education sector – a new laboratory for a University in the South-West is in the pipeline and we have recently secured a 6 bay modular building to form two classrooms and a reception area along with all the external groundworks in Birmingham.
In the Commercial sector we have been commissioned to build a 5-bay office complex in Liverpool which needs to be aesthetically pleasing externally, so we have created a design featuring brick slip and timber cladding to make it really catch the eye. Additionally, we have several ongoing contracts with Councils in the South of the UK to supply welfare facilities within recycling facilities. London features geographically in our double-stacked office with external staircase for a brewery in London.
When we then add in that we are currently working on a 2-bay building for a yoga studio and have recently completed a unit used as a butchery training room, I think we can surely demonstrate a wide variety of uses across the whole of the UK and in value from a few thousand pounds to several million pounds!
